Temperance

Temperance is the alchemist who pours spirit into matter and matter into spirit, making of both a third thing that is neither. Slow down. Mix your opposites with care. The miracle here is not speed but the patient, luminous arc of liquid passing between the two cups without spilling a drop.

Reversed, Temperance warns of excess, impatience, or self-medication. The alchemy has been rushed; the cups overflow or run dry. Return to moderation, to the slow blending of extremes. Nothing precious is made quickly.
