The Empress

The Empress is generative life itself — the flowering of what was planted, the softening that lets something grow. She calls you into the body, the garden, the project that wants to be fed rather than forced. Abundance is already in progress; your part is to tend it.

Reversed, the Empress speaks of creative block, overgiving, or a disconnection from the body and the sensual world. Nurture has tipped into smothering, or self-care has been traded for self-neglect. Return to small tangible pleasures; bloom asks for enough rest to bloom.
