Six of Swords

The Six of Swords does not promise the destination is paradise, only that you are leaving behind the worst of the storm. Carry your swords with you; the lessons of the hard stretch are not abandoned, only transported into calmer water.

The passage is stalled — unfinished emotional business keeps pulling you back to the shore you were trying to leave, or the ferryman you trusted to guide you has his own agenda. You may need to make the crossing alone this time, or to accept that you cannot leave until you have paid whatever debt of reckoning the old shore still requires.
